Warehouse SeniorResource Supervisor (Reports to the DC Sr. Manager)
Direct Reports: 3 Warehouse Supervisors, 1 Transportation Scheduler
Key Responsibilities:
- The Warehouse Senior Resource Supervisor is accountable for all day to day operations within the Distribution Center.
- This includes performance management of productivity, customer service, HSE, and quality.
- Responsibilities also include management of the daily dock schedule, staffing levels, hosteling, coach's scorecard and consistent application of our employee handbook.
- Daily coordination with the Inventory Control Resource Supervisor is necessary to ensure alignment within and across departments

Functional Areas:
- Overall productivity management of the DC
- Accountability for hourly staffing levels
- Sanitation responsibilities for the warehouse
- KPI tracking for customer service, safety, quality, and costs
- Facilitate troubleshooting activities for issues in the DC
- Understand and have the ability to properly operate all warehouse equipment, including LGV, forklift, RFs, dock levelers, and other misc. equip
- Troubleshoot work activities through technical knowledge of WMS system
- Support inventory control, lot management, equipment utilization, customer service, and scheduling activities
- Support new materials and product testing
- Ensure SOP's are current and are being followed
- Work with the maintenance team to track and prioritize maintenance work items
- Manage workload by coordinating all orders and unloads to meet shipping and pick-up schedules
- Supervisor and other salaried employee development
Safety:
- Accident investigation for accidents and near misses on the shift (include 7 step process as needed)
- Verify employees are trained on required safety programs for the department, particularly PIT
- Active engagement in our PIT program element
- Participation in all safety initiatives and be the main contact for all safety concerns and investigations
- Ensure employees have been trained and are utilizing the proper PPE for the job
Quality:
- Understand QA manual decision rules as it relates to production and quality hold activities
- Complete master sanitation requirements for the warehouse
- Ensure held product is controlled and accounted for
- Exceed AIB, food safety requirements for the Distribution Center
Customer Service:
- Meet all customer driven initiatives (LSC, Freshness, RAD, co-mingle, etc.)
- Period and quarter end shipment reporting requirements
- Exceed critical customer service KPI's (Product Availability and On Time Delivery)
- Support customer service activities, including CAS training, and customer visits
Costs:
- Establish and meet cost management targets and through LSS
- Budget management and period explanations for all period and variable accounts
- Enforcement and control of product loss
Administrative:

- Support payroll and all other accounting functions
- Ensure effective passdown meetings are conducted thru coach training
- Daily payroll, time, attendance, vacation, coverage, scheduling, for the warehouse employees. Coordinate overlaps and coverage needs with the warehouse supervisors.
- Ensure consistent application of discipline, productivity standards, start-up's, etc. across all three shifts
- Demonstrate effective communication, motivation, and leadership skills
- Provide training and orientation for new employees
- Understand and enforce of the supervisors scorecard, handbook, and resource guide
- Maintain a professional approach and appearance for work activities
- Treat facility work teams with the respect and communication levels necessary to ensure professional working relationships
- Accountability for direct report performance reviews and career development
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum Logistics experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Supply Chain Mgmt./Logistics and/or technical equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly knowledgeable in LSS with Kaisen Leader or Green Belt certification
- Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
- Highly motivated and promotes team development
